the interactions of complex system are generally multivariate, multi-scale and nonlinear strong interaction. in complex system modeling that adapts man-machine combination, pattern recognition, data mining and visualization are the main research areas and technological supports. system pattern can be widely recognized. to recognize the pattern is actually to mine time-space law from real data. and the visualization of complex system focuses on providing visual representation of system structure and system characteristics.
recognition of system pattern
pattern recognition is to describe, recognize, classify and explain system characteristic and behavior by processing and analyzing various information of representation system. it is a main approach to achieve system analysis. we use technologies such as artificial neural network to conduct remote sensing, medicine, its picture processing, spatial information mining, mineral resources prediction, and other pattern recognition research.
visualization of complex system
visualization, as an efficient method to interpret mass data, is widely applied in science and engineering calculation. it transforms mass data of system into diagram, so that we can visually understand the state and characteristic of the system. with technologies such as computer graphics, picture processing and virtual reality, we made progress in 3d visualization and apply it in medicine, digital protection of cultural heritage, etc. specifically, we make progress in digital heritage, virtual restoration, virtual scene and representation of reality and provide new technology for protecting cultural heritage.
